Since 1999 we have been painting homes both large and small, inside and out. We are centrally located in Durham CT, but have the staff to cover the entire state with multiple painting teams. This means that we are better able to work around your schedule, add additional painters where needed, and ensure that the finished work meets both your very high standards and ours. Our goal is your complete satisfaction and knowing that our finished work is also our best advertising, we strive to consistently meet and exceed your expectations.

HI, MY NAME IS A.J. EAMES

I Founded Custom Colonial Painting 20 years ago...

What began as a small painting business with college friends has rapidly grown into a far larger organization than I could have ever imagined at the time. Today we have painting crews working in as many as 10 different towns on any given day. I now get the privilege of painting some of the nicest homes in the state and working with the nicest homeowners to help them make their house their dream home. Now, as a father of two and living in my own home, I know as well as anyone how important it is to maintain my number one investment – my home.

OUR SUCCESS RECIPE

The “recipe” for our success is very simple, we only hire great painters with an average of over 15 years of experience. We only use the best paints. We take care and pride in the work that we do. This means being careful in your home, doing the prep work right, painting with skill, and then putting everything back the way we found it.

That recipe doesn’t allow for short cuts, and we don’t take any. We consider our work to be our advertising, whether it’s a historic home, a commercial building or a normal neighborhood house. We know that if the job is done right its likely you will recommend us and that’s what motivates us.
